Artists: Apply Within!

With noon hour concerts happening every week on Wednesdays from September to June, Southminster welcomes proposals from professional musicians interested in performing in its celebrated DOMS series.

DOMS pays competitively, starting from $100 per musician for larger ensembles, and up to $400 for established artists offering solo concerts in its 45-minute lunch time concert series. Fees are established according to seasonal budget limits and based on how donations are trending; We pay artists as well as we possibly can, and generally more than for similar projects elsewhere. We also offer basic stipends for travel, where appropriate.

Southminster United Church is one of the best venues in the Capital region, with amazing acoustics and the best piano you will come across anywhere. Our audiences are attentive and appreciative. Artists can sell CDs and plug upcoming events to the live and live-stream audience, and they will get a Youtube link to their concert out of the gig.
