Early Inspirations

Four recent uOttawa graduates juxtapose contemporary piano quartets by Johannes Brahms and Robert Schumann from relatively early in their compositional maturity, presenting the complete Hungarian-inspired Brahms Piano Quartet No. 1 and the slow third movement of Schumann's Piano Quartet Op. 47, which would inspire Brahms' later chamber music.
